Spring greetings from the PolyOz President.

Love is in the air, spring has sprung!  I see many lovers kissing and holding hands in the park.

The new season offers new love and to enjoy true love with the one or many at the moment.

President's Report of the winter Poly campout held over the Queens long weekend 5-8 June:

Despite being  cold & windy, about 18 attended the Poly Camping Extravaganza at Mandurang.  Some came up early to set up camp, others dropped in to enjoy a visit or for the evening to warm up by the brazier with laid back company.  Families relaxed & children played.  Forgetting the cold, wet weather, we were warmed by many fires and well fed with lots of hot pea soup & baked potatoes from the campfire.  Some tried their hand at various farm activities eg.  tractor driving, wood chopping, donkey rides & just soaking in the hot tub.....

DID YOU MISS ALL THAT ??????  NEVERMIND.... BECAUSE ITS ALL ON AGAIN !!!!-

THE POLY CAMPING EXTRAVAGANZA # 4

On the weekend before the Cup ---- SAT 31st October  to  TUES 3rd of November.

Arrivals also welcome on Friday afternoon.

All Poly groups, interested parties, new comers & families welcome to attend or visit.

BYO , bring bedding & appropriate clothing, eg. boots for bushwalking & sun protection.

Tent & food to share.

Plenty of parking & campsites - Cooking appliances, BBQ & Pots supplied.

Outdoor Loo, Power & Hot Showers available.  And a garden Hot Tub and of course plenty of fresh country air, water , sunshine and nature.

PolyOz is Moving!

The PolyOz site will shortly be moving location and undergoing a much needed upgrade and overhaul of site features and functions.

The site will undergo a small name change, to more emaphasise it's functions within the Australian Poly Community.

The Primary purpose of the site will be to provide Public Education about our lifestyle, showcase real Poly stories from real Poly people, without the the slant sometimes seen in the mainstream media. We will also provide personal blogs for the Poly Community, a calendar of upcoming events throughought the country and reports on those events as well as the ever popular forums. We will also include a "guide" to Poly support groups throughout Australia so as you can link in with a group in your area.

In short the site aims to network the site visitor with Polyamory Resources that are available throughout the Country and to keep up to date with what is happening within the Poly Community.

The new site will be polyoz.net.au

But - we need your help!

To make the new site more interactive and create an unique online experience within the Poly Community, we are looking for your feedback on what site features you would like to see included on the new site.

Does the site need personal ads, or perhaps lean more towards a social format where we can have user profiles that are a little more detailed that also act as a "contact" section with users being able to search for profiles that are similar to their own and then send a wink or message to members that choose to be able make contacts?

Perhaps you have your own ideas on layout, site navigation or features that can be included - any ideas at all will be considered and Open for discussion - the primary concern at this stage is to make polyoz.net.au a Community Site and that means that we have to provide what the community wants and will use - because the more people using the site makes the site more interesting and a better browsing experience for all concerned.

Please feel free to leave your comments, by clicking the comments link below, on what you would like to see included from this site or something new that we haven't had before. Also - pop on over to the templates gallery and look through the selection of site templates and vote or leave your comments on the designs we have there for the new look of the site.

Hopefully with your help we can get some meaningful discussion going and develop a site that is truly what the community wants......
